Our journey began about 60 years ago with our founder Late Mr. M.D. Ahuja in 1958. Driven by his passion to take the essence of India to the world, he hand rolled incense sticks at home, infused with pure essential oils. Selling every pack on his bicycle on the streets of Mumbai, he surely and steadily pedalled his way to success and our parent company Mysore Fine Agarbatti Factory was established in the early 1960's.

Joining the family business in his late teens, Mr. Anil M.Ahuja took the family business global and in 1985 formed Mysore Scents Company, which today is spread over 35,000 sq. feet, strategically located at Kandla Free Trade Zone in the state of Gujarat, India. The plant meets all local compliance and regulations for health, safety and welfare and adheres to a strict no child labour policy. Today, our products are exported to over 40 countries across the globe.

Aroma India is a lifestyle brand which was conceptualised in 2008 by Mr Sanjay Ahuja, the third generation of the Ahuja family. Adding a new dimension to the family business Aroma India boasts of an entirely new collection of products like luxury candles, diffusers, wax tablets amongst other home fragrance products, using high-quality ingredients. Aroma India creates signature scents and offers customised product designs with creative packaging to deliver a bespoke experience.
